CAL/EMRA
We are very proud to be a part of the California chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians. California is home to 14 outstanding residencies; second most per state in the nation. Residents make up a growing portion ACEP membership, especially in California, and we would like to contribute to their endeavors and be a part of their continued success.
As a resident, a major challenge is to stay well-informed of the many issues facing emergency medicine. This website is overflowing with all the information you will ever want to know about the issues facing emergency medicine and what CAL/ACEP has contributed. It has the legal and political battles they have dealt with and the many successes achieved on behalf of emergency medicine.
We would like to increase resident interest and participation in CAL/ACEP. We encourage those who are interested in pursuing an active role to run for CAL/EMRA's representative to CAL/ACEP's Board of Directors. For those that cannot dedicate an entire year, there is also an elective rotation available.
